Every day, our professionals carry out renovation work with a high level of safety awareness. Continuous training is essential to maintain our high level of specialisation and ensure the safety of you and our people. Safety is an absolute priority in order to be a reliable partner for industrial works. Our internal prevention advisers, as well as our experienced site managers, workers and project managers, work on this every day.

That is why we have three internal Prevention Advisers, one IPA level 1 and two IPA level 2, in-house to guarantee and ensure maximum safety. Because at Suerickx Energies, safety always comes first!

VCA certification

All our departments have a VCA petrochemical certificate that demonstrates the robust safety management system for everyone's activities, as well as specific additional requirements for the petrochemical industry. Safety, health and the environment are and will remain crucially important in the world of 'renovation'. This is a significant investment for us and requires the efforts of all our employees and partners in carrying out our work.

Toolbox meeting

Our monthly toolbox meetings are the ideal communication tool for positively influencing the 'well-being behaviour' of our employees. Our prevention advisor uses a presentation to elaborate on a topic that is brought to the attention of the audience in a practical, sometimes interactive way. This can range from legislation or the use of PPE to a specific safety situation, an analysed risk, findings from a workplace inspection, etc. The main focus is always on encouraging a proactive attitude by providing directly applicable information and exchanging knowledge.

Comprehensive initial briefing

A specific kick-off briefing is organised before our people start a new project. This provides the employees in question with all the information they need to start the project with full knowledge of the facts. During the works, our site manager is responsible for the strict monitoring of all safety agreements.
