Nowadays, many parking lots are being equipped with carports with solar panels, so-called Solar Carports. This is, of course, a suitable area for installing solar panels, which can be immediately combined with charging stations.

On the ground

Are the roofs on your site less suitable for solar panels, perhaps due to their orientation or because they're full of HVAC systems? No problem! Ground-mounted installations are also possible.

On the water

Installing solar panels on water reservoirs, ponds, and basins results in a higher yield compared to roof-mounted installations due to the reflection of sunlight on the water's surface and the water's cooling effect. An additional advantage of installing solar panels on water is that water evaporation is limited.

For flat roofs, we work with balanced ballast systems, without structural penetrations, so that your roof remains watertight and damage-free.

FM Approval

More and more industrial customers are being required by their insurers to comply with FM Approvals standards when renovating roofs or installing solar panels.

FM Approval is an international certification issued by FM Global, one of the world's largest industrial insurers. This approval is only granted to systems that have been successfully tested for, among other things:

  • Damage prevention
  • Fire safety
  • Wind load and storm resistance

Systems that meet these strict criteria are labelled FM Approved and included in RoofNav, FM Global's official database.

Solar ground installation

Are your roofs less suitable for solar panels due to limited load-bearing capacity, unfavourable orientation or existing HVAC installations? Then a ground-mounted system offers a fully-fledged alternative. A vacant lot can be put to perfect use to generate sustainable energy in a cost-effective manner.

The major advantage of a ground-mounted system is its flexibility: the angle of inclination and orientation of the panels can be optimally adjusted to the sun, which often results in a higher yield than with roof installations. Depending on the soil and the environment, we work with concrete foundations, piles or screw piles. Always tailored to your site!

Floating solar parks

Floating solar panels, or Floating PV, make it possible to efficiently utilise water surfaces such as reservoirs, ponds or industrial basins for energy generation.

These installations often deliver higher yields than traditional rooftop installations thanks to the reflective sunlight and the natural cooling effect of the water. In addition, Floating PV helps to limit water evaporation, which offers an additional ecological advantage in certain industrial applications.
