Eierveiling: 625 kW / 675 kWh BESS with For-E Hybrid Supercapacitor in Poederlee

For the Eierveiling project in Poederlee (BE), Suerickx Energies installed an advanced 625 kW / 675 kWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), designed to significantly increase the site’s energy flexibility and grid stability. As part of the scope of work, Brelco upgraded the existing 400 kVA transformer to 630 kVA and also integrated Fluvius Telecontrole V4, ensuring that the installation fully complies with current grid requirements.

The customer deliberately opted for a For-E Hybrid Supercapacitor solution, an innovative combination of battery and supercapacitor technology that offers high performance, fast response times and an extended service life. This enables the site to optimally manage peak demand, energy management and future flexibility services.

With this project, Suerickx Energies reaffirms its expertise in the implementation of complex energy storage projects, in which engineering, grid integration, remote control and commissioning come together seamlessly in a single integrated solution.
